Radio Spots


I wrote a series of radio spots for Castrol, Cisco, and TD Ameritrade. I like radio because it’s a writer’s domain. There’s nothing to distract you. It’s all about the words. It reminds of the time I went on a date with a with a blind guy. When I was getting ready, I didn’t obsess about what I wore or how my hair looked. I was incredibly liberating. Then, I met him at the restaurant, and I started to talk. And suddenly I was overwhelmingly self-conscious. He was listening to every word I said. Radio is a lot like that. You’re out there and there’s no place to hide.
